Oo, my kindy mate is getting married soon!.:),
“OMGosh Li, you are getting married!!”
was the first thing i said to her when i saw her, and blissfully she replied,
” Yes I am!”.
with a very big grin!.
Haha, from the way she answers, i know that David must have loved her very much. Well, it was also the first time i met David, after hearing so much about him since we got the news that Li is engaged!. Alright, thats great! Here are some pictures from the engagement party.

Always good to start with pictures of some cutie. They haven’t warmed up to each other yet! haha

Remember the grin ?.. something like the one in this pic!. I don’t think you can fake an expression like that!.

Well, there you go, some previews. Dave and Li, all the best in the planning!. KL TOWER yeay!.

Hi peeps,
Just came back from quite a good time in Penang, hanging out with mates as well as for church camp. Well, one of the days a few of us just decided to hop on a bus and take a ride to Gurney Drive and little did we know, that bus ride turned out so beautifully!
These are some portraiture that we collectively did for two of my very dear friends. I would have a big dilemma on their wedding day!. I wouldn’t know which side to be on!.. :s I got to start thinking now!.. Who knows it will be soon!. hahaha :p
Oh btw, did i mention Jon and Alison are artsy people themselves?. Jon is a fellow photog/magician with real cool ideas and concepts, and Ally is a Creative Copywritter at a local magazine with heaps of creative experience under her belt.
So please do enjoy the pics

” Hello Stranger” by Julian Koay
Its a very tricky situation with this session, since its not planned for ..
The pics below is taken by me with Jon’s camera and post processed by Ally herself. ( you get my drift ? see how everyone’s contribution to this makes the pic so awesome? ) hahaha. Oh, not forgeting Jays and Juls who were with us in the bus too. If anyone thinks we are fools on the bus, at least there is a good number of 5!.. and not 3!.. (make sense rite ? 5>3 ? )Haha!.

“Peek-KA-Boo”!!

I love how it all gelled together!. I VOTE for spontanuous shoots ANYTIME!.

It has been a while since there was any updates. Not that I’m lazy, but really so much was going on I couldn’t find the time to actually post anything up. So, some time ago, Kd.s (Designer) in partnership with Motto Designs Sdn bhd ( Design Consultant) , We took on this project to design the new Sakae Sushi outlet at Leisure Mall Cheras. So as a background, The client wanted a totally different feel and break free from the typical Japanese sushi outlet, where you have bamboos all over, paper lamps and what not. So as the outcome of our conversation, we decided that we will adopt a new theme. Garden-ish theme.
This is how it looks like in 3d,

Another view,

And this is how the actual look like.

Indeed this was a pleasurable project to work on. Lets look forward to more outlet opening!

23 Jan 2010 marks a very special day for my long time friend. She was about to sign the papers and become Mrs. Yish!.. ( well, we call him Yish, so Mrs.Yish sounds good)
Indeed, after our meeting on one fated evening in CCM mamak, I was kinda excited to find that both of them are such a cute couple. I’m really happy for Yian Lei that she has found the man that is witty and funny and whacky at the same time to her liking.
All I could say is, I thoroughly enjoyed photographing your ROM.
We at Kd.s wish you an enternally blissful journey ahead
I hope you love what I have for you

I totally had so much fun! .. Hoorayy!..

It has been a busy and pressing time. KD.S has just completed the design stage for a niche boutique in Dataran Pahlawan Mall, Malacca.
I will consider myself privileged to be able to be a part of this exciting concept store birth by a visionary entrepreneur, Miss Rachael Lai.
So, i spent one Saturday in Malacca to meet with Rachael, Ella, the mother and Kevyn ( the graphic designer)to listen to how Rachael envisioned her boutique to be. I was nothing short of excited and exhilarated when I see her passion and excitement.
I went back to Klang and onto my worktable. I begin to imagine the picture that she was trying to paint with her words. It was a relive to know that what I’ve imagined/designed was coherent to what she was trying to tell me.
Do drop by Ming Concept, Dataran Pahlawan if you are around in Malacca.

I just can’t wait to see the real thing built which will be VERY soon!. So stay tuned!
Cheers!

I was engaged to renovate a house in Bandar Botanic. This project is somewhat interesting because, not only this design has to be functional, it also has to incorporate ‘feng shui’ principals. Something that is new, but not so new too. Hmm, I wonder if it made any sense. However, This is a visual of the dry kitchen. This dry kitchen is specifically designed only for baking and perhaps really minor cooking as the wet kitchen is just beyond the wooden sliding doors just adjacent to the dry kitchen.

I had the privilege to photo journalize a friends wedding in Tasmania while i was there studying. Jacq and Louise Grubb are the loveliest couple I’ve met. Certainly, they have blessed me more than money could have bought.
I wish the both of you a long and happy life together

And this is taken while I was in Aussie, doing some ” fun” shooting
