A cafe
With the rise of eateries and hang out spots in town, here we have our share of designing and building a new cafe located in our very own hood, Klang.
With irregular glass cuttings framed in black steel as the front of cafe, the interior of the cafe is visible to all with a couple of tables with chairs before the glass entrance.
Generous amount of stones was used – from rugged concrete to bricks for the feature wall in this cafe.
A plaster surface goes over the brick wall with portions of the brick wall exposed. The edges of the plaster surface are then hammered to create the rough and rugged feel.
The choice of tungsten warm globe light bulbs throughout the cafe with a great combination of dark grey and olive green painted walls emit a warm and cosy ambience, perfect for a chill out spot.
